A.) Install QUIET BARRIER® HD Sound Blocking Material to the stud framing with 1 1/4 in. roofing nails. For ease of installation use a pneumatic roofing nail gun. Use our Acoustic Sealant to seal gaps and our vinyl QUIET BARRIER® Tape for seams.

B.) Install the isoTRAX™ system horizontally across the stud framing.

C.) Install 5/8 in. Gypsum Board (Drywall) to the isoTRAX™ with 1 1/4 in. drywall screws. Leave a 1/4 in. gap around the perimeter of the new wall. Use our Acoustic Sealant to seal the gap.
