SoundBlockR™ is a high performance, noise blocking, sound absorbing thermal insulation providing superior STC and NRC ratings. The product is a three layer acoustic composite with two layers of 1.5 in. thick, high-density, recycled cotton fiber sandwiching a 1/8 in. noise blocking membrane. This heavy-duty sound absorbing composite blocks airborne noise, decreases resonance within wall and ceiling cavities and attenuates structure borne vibration. The product is sized to friction fit between 16 in. on center studs and joists, making installation easy and affordable.
